On Friday, December 27, 2024, Royal Railway proudly welcomed 36 state-of-the-art flat wagons from China, marking a significant boost to its freight operations. The wagons were successfully unloaded the following morning, setting the stage for a new chapter in efficient rail logistics across Cambodia. 🎉

These wagons, crafted by a leading Chinese manufacturer, are engineered to handle various cargo types—from containers and heavy machinery to construction materials and more. Their addition reinforces Royal Railway’s mission to deliver reliable and versatile freight solutions, empowering industries throughout Cambodia and the region.

Before hitting the tracks, the wagons will undergo a rigorous brake system test on December 27, 2024, ensuring optimal safety and performance. Once cleared, they’ll begin operations on December 28, 2024, seamlessly integrating into Royal Railway’s growing fleet.

Looking ahead, another 44 wagons are set to arrive in early January 2025, with the remaining units scheduled to roll in over the coming months. This phased expansion demonstrates Royal Railway’s dedication to meeting the rising demands of Cambodia’s evolving logistics sector.
